I was so looking forward to the weekend Bintan trip a few days again.
Just had to pay for ferry 60 bucks, as the deal comes with the room paid for.
Sweet.
Then I had to fall sick on Thurs.
Was sniffling abit since Monday morning. then Thurs came, and I begin sniffling alot, sneezed my head off a couple of times, and by lunch I was declared contagiously sick by my colleagues, with my boss then ordering me to go home.
Sure, I was happy to rest, and rest I did.
Even on Friday in fact, since I decided to be flu-free before I go back to my office...
Went to see the Doc, got that MC and rested again.
Until that chilly feeling came in the afternoon, I couldn't help but switched on my laptop to check my email counts, after my sister finished selecting her schools for her O' levels

Over 300+....
Drats...
Was supposed to take the 8pm ferry that night, so I started feverishly clearing my emails ...
The abit of the flu returned... I gave up and decided to call it quits, telling my cousin that I couldn't make it... then somehow, after speaking with her, I felt abit guilty for doing this to her so last min and also wanting to have abit of the fun which I had promised myself all week long, that I finally gathered my barangs and made the rush to the Tanah Merah Terminal leaving the house at approximately 6.45pm.
JAM.
Finally after bus-train-cab, I managed to reach there at about 8pm, with my cousin calling umpteen times during the cab ride asking me to hurry...
CRAP.
Ferry sailed off without me.
Dejected and super emo, I left the terminal. A line of taxis queued waiting for passengers, and the uncles all stared at me imploringly as I walked by their vehicles. Being super pissed and super upset about the waste of a good 80 bucks (ferry and expensive cab ride), I held my head high (imagined it), and walked away from all those irritating eyes.
The lone bus stop in the middle of nowhere stated that there was only 1 bus available. And there were a couple, an uncle, a few malays scattered around the tiny bus stand. So I waited.
I teared abit, being that super emo state, and that uncle beside me blatantly stared. Trying to ignore and act like nothing was amiss to the other nearby waiters (in this case, people who were waiting), I took out my DS and started poking the screen with the phoenix wright game.
Bloody... I nearly completed the game by the time the stupid bus arrived!! Damn that stupid bus stop with that 1 stupid bus with that stupid frequency time of 45 mins!!!!
So after that stupid long wait, I took that super long train ride home, then changed to bus. took me like 2 hrs cos in the middle of the ride, I stupidly alighted at the wrong stop due to the grogginess caused by the medicine... ARGH... Yes. I'm blaming it on the medicine...
The next day, since I was in Singapore, I decided that I should go for the jap class which i had originally told my teacher that I won't be attending...
I forgot that it was a placement class and boy was I unprepared for the Mizusaki World (Mizusaki Sensei states that in her world, everything is possible and logical thinking would not apply, thus we have to listen to her lesson thoroughly, since she would suddenly pop a question in your face and expect her kind of answer) , which is horrifying for someone whose Jap is in a smattering mess.
And Yep. I didn't make it to Level 2. It's like Super Mario meeting the Level 2 King without his mushroom or flower or feather... Back to Level 1.
After that, I didn't have anything else to look forward to, since G fell sick, and I started feeling emo again, didn't want to unleash it on unsuspecting frens or foes or passerbys, that I decided to go home and face the emails...
The email thingy lasted for the rest of the weekend which I also injected some "How I Met your Mother" into it, making it bearable, and also longer since I always get addictedly distracted by the sitcom...
Here's hoping that I get a better, more enjoyable weekend this coming Fri to Tue. Chinese New Year can't go too wrong, right?
Right??
