This Is My DAY. (Part III)

Alright.
One last blog tt I can name This Is My DAY.

I'm one hell (no.. heaven) of a happy girl right now...

Know Y??

Cos I've had the BEST BESTER BESTEST Birthday EVER!!
MY 21st Bday. Highly memorable thanks to my dearest Markee aka MarcBoi aka the "M" aka Marco de amore.. (ooh.. I LUV to give him names... WEEeee!!)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I took a half day off work, went home to get ready and await the arrival of my prince charming.
That DArlin... He ended up waitin for me while i was primping away with the dress-ups... Poor Dear... Pleasant surprise for me as he whipped out a bouquet of flowers, roses, baby breaths and this wat's-its-name flower.
My first flower bouquet ever.. so sweet.. Love it.
(i swear this is my first bouquet. somehow the bouquets that my exes tried to give me happened to have some little "accidents" or so they claimed...)
Anyways, we went to watch sillie girlie show Ella Enchanted. I could see he was trying his utmost not to drift away into dreamland... Oh well... Sorry Dear.
Ella was ok. of cos.
the usual fairytaley stories. Happily Ever After with a few sweet lovey dovey songs and rather amusing dances thrown in to complete that of a fairytale.
After was dinner.
I pestered him for the name and place of the restaurant we were dining at, but he wouldn't for once budge, n instead bugged me on where I was bringin him to dine at... . . . . . . .
Buts, he whisked me off to fullerton one to take a river taxi (kinda a memorable ride cos we took it togets when we weren't together yet.) to the restaurant tt he claimed was "far far away"...
Ended up opposite Boat Quay, right in front of IndoChine.
Wow.
The ambience, service, food and deco was fantastic. 'cept for tt tiny cubicle which was the restroom. hmm..
We had Vietnamese spring rolls wrapped in crispy lettuce for starters, then followed by the main with tender beef cubed in sauce, and also cambodian seafood in curry cooked to perfection. Yummilicious...
He wanted to further complement the already-wonderful meal with shooters and cocktails. but as i was mentally-calculating all the expenditure he spent so far on my measly little bday, i nearly choked on that perfect piece of beef.
Then I stopped him from ordering those and heaved a huge sigh of relief when the waiter came with a discounted bill (citibank perks).
ya so, another pretty surprise came in the form of my 21st bday cake, courtesy of my dearest MarcBoi (fave name). Black Forest Cake. Though not a favourite but, i like the cake enuf. (i dun really eat cakes tt's y.)
By the time he came up with the final surprise, i was disoriented with my "faulty" tear ducts leaking, n wat nerve, tt waiter wanted to help us take a photo at tt time!! HMPH. haha... kidding. efforts appreciated. though not at the right time.
wat was the surprise tt was so devastatingly wonderful u ask??
haha....
i'll leave u guessing now. cos i'm feeling the fatigue from my over-excitedness of the day...
oh my gosh, look at the time, my bday's over...
Nitez..
This Is My DAY. (Part II)
Writing to the world, the skies, the seas, the air, the loves & hates, my frens, my family, my past, present, and future, my acquaintances, my frens' frens, my frens' frens' fren & so on, the gods n heaven for giving me this fragile living aura called My Life.
And lastly, blogging to the readers who actually took time to digest my blog of tea (at the same time, cursing at me, wishing that they haven't plunged their glorious lives into despair, by sharing bits n pieces of time with me...)
Thank you,
for the times u made me grow, a little by little, into this creature i see in the mirror.
for the times u made my inner being feel enlightened, even for tt miserly minute. i felt liberated for a moment.
for the times u made me cry my heart out onto the platter. Tears will learn to cease when i reach the dry.
for the times u made my heart soar so high that i thought will nvr return.
for the times u made me smile, the lines on my face so etched, turning into wrinkles.
Lastly, for the parts n parcels of life n memories each of u had delivered, safe in my heart, locked up n kept within.
Thank you.
This Is My DAY.
Connie n Carla
Watched it juz yesterday..
was rather hilarious with the gay jokes and stuffs. novelty, i guess.
but didn't like it as much as i tot i would cos of the totally unrealistic ending tt was there for the sake of ending the story with the typical same old hollywood happily ever after.
All for a good laugh i suppose.
Everyone wans a happy ending.
don't u??
i Robot
Perhaps the title is kinda weird.
Sounds abit act-cool, i admit.
BUT, after watching the movie which opened just today, after endless differing opinions of wat shows to watch with the MarcBoi, I've therefore decided that, maybe, i was juz being a wee bit too critical of this movie despite the fact that I haven watched it at all, 'cept for a few stupid-looking posters of Will the Man(Will Smith) and some unknown babe..
Yeah. The usual look-cool, seem-cool kinda posters with the hero on some cool machine with the chick hugging oh-so-tightly to him, and of cos, not to forget tt must-have explosion scene juz metres behind which seemingly doesn't seem to bother the stars of the show a wee bit.
Well.
I liked it.
Not bad at all. 'cept for that abit weird link evolving ard his past...
BUT, it's quite an interesting concept to broach on, in my opinion.
Shan't provide too much reviews on it, in case, pple decide to juz read my reviews n stop watching the movie, thus leading to the drop in box office, n the hollywood management decides to kick my puny little ass off the earth...
ok. sorry. exaggeration on my part.
Right.
As I was tokking about the movie.
Great flick for the action lovers.
or the Tech-savvy peeps.
the technologies of the year 2035.
esp. tt Audi futuristic car...
DAmn Slick.
Worth tt tik.
~~~~~~~~
Totally lost wat I wanted to continue...
NVM.

Go watch it.

That's tt.
Til' the next inspiration comes...

Not for the Faint-hearted...

This webbie i'm especially introducing to the bored-to-tears-cos-i-have-nuttin'-to-do, and the weirdos with tt saddistic nature, enjoys the flashes of torture inflicted on others such as little cute animals...

www.happytreefriends.com

One may be secretly thrilled at either the aspect of seeing the highly-innovated death scenes or a certain cute n bubbly song that plays in the background of the murder scene...
(WARNING: PLAYS OVER AND OVER AGAIN IN YOUR MIND...)

Anyways, it's a great piece of artwork there. Both creative and entertaining...

OK.
Here's another link to another silly flash series.
Might be slightly more offensive as it offers a teeny weeny bit of ...

Inspire me.

Hey ya folks.
Haven much inspiration to write these days.
Basically down to photo-bloging n silly quizzes on bra-sizes.. (HAVE U TRIED IT??)

Anyways... Praise Blogger in adding the textcolor option.
Now our Blogging lives can be so much more full of COLOR!!!
I'm loving it!!

Juz to advertise a blog by a avid-blogger-wannabe(kidding, she's terrific at blogging), those who are BUSY can also pay their due respects to tt site.

To Xuehua: ~Respect~ *hammers chest with fist*

Ks.

Cousins are in KL right now, having fun shopping and stuffs.
The MarcBoi is probably either still suppering with Jared or at Jared's place already.
Family's sleeping and enjoying every bit of their dreams, whilst i witness their salivating mouths, leaving trails of sticky liquids onto their smelly pillows...

Me??
I type away at the desktop comp, with an empty brain, barely-opened slits which are supposedly my eyes, and a very much empty stomach, growling away, while i continued with my typing, ignoring its plea for food. Tt empty brain taxing itself on unpaid dues, pushing itself to churn out words and lines to be typed out by the poor reluctant fingers which constantly tries to remind the brain, that it's bedtime, given the retardiness of movement.

No idea wat this blog is actually for.
Juz wanted to crap-blog since the long absence of new posts.
Fresh blood to keep the life within...

*licks my shiny canine teeth* (ooh... ticklelish)

The Horoscope thingy.

I've always held this facination/interest for the Astrology Horoscope which all of us has. (unless u r too plain lazy to even find out which of the horoscope stars u belong in...)

I juz happened to see this site with this title:

Blame his star sign: why men do the weird things they do

Interesting huh?? For us gals of course.

And Of cos, upon seeing the title, interested-little-old-ME went straight for MarcBoi's horoscope analysis in his field.

eh-heh..

~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~
'I'm a workaholic, and when I'm not working, I'm hiding in my basement.' Howard Stern (Born January 12)

Capricorn (December 22-January 19)

'I'm a workaholic, and when I'm not working, I'm hiding in my basement.' Howard Stern (Born January 12)

He's strong, dependable, and a bit shy. Whether he's rich or poor, he dresses impeccably, acts like a gentleman, and most likely owns his own business. A male Capricorn will impress you with his reserved good manners. He may remind you of one of those old-time tough guys with a heart of gold, like Humphrey Bogart, and his favourite movie will probably be It's a Wonderful Life. Before your eyes fill up with tears, understand that the movie's evil banker, Mr Potter, is the hero he's modelled his life after.

Living with a Capricorn man is like being tied to a horsehair-upholstered armchair and forced to listen to a continuous loop of the Cheeky Girls. By the third date, he'll have decided whether he wants to make it permanent, which will have nothing to do with whether you feel the same way. Once he's fixed his beady little stare on you, he can make the most devoted Taurus look fickle.

Cappy loves applause as much as cousin Leo. However, where the Lion seeks adoration, the Goat sees it as an affirmation. No matter what means he uses to get where he's going, once he's there, he'll act like he's just one of the good old boys.

Romantically, your Goat's basic attitude is that you should keep your mouth shut and jump into bed. Early in the relationship, he may forget himself and choke out an 'I love you'. Even if he marries you, he probably won't say it again. He will figure that if he made it legal and allowed you to quit your job so you could stay home to wait on him, that's proof enough.

Depending on his financial status, he'll have either a mini office or a hotline to his bookie in the bedroom and will regulate your lovemaking with the same cool know-how he uses either in the boardroom or poolroom. He can be surprisingly passionate, once he feels comfortable enough to lose his inhibitions. But since he's not into role-playing, sensual massage, or the use of mood-altering substances, you'll need the patience of a saint, and the persistence of a Virgo. It may take months to get him to lose the pyjamas and quit shaking hands before jumping between the sheets.

He invented the double standard. He's condescending and totally oblivious to anyone's feelings but his own. He sees himself as the great patron and expects to control your cheque book, social calendar, and household schedule. He's so tight, he'll inspect the toothpaste tubes before you toss them away. Unless he's a chef or a car mechanic, he won't shop for dinner or get his hands dirty changing the oil on the car. But he will dictate the grocery list and give you permission to call the garage he recommends. He doesn't want a partner who thinks. He wants someone who looks good on his arm. If you are a Libra, he's probably your ideal mate. If you are the independent type, be prepared for an onslaught of power plays that makes Scorpio look like a rank amateur.

His motto is, 'Do as I say, not as I do'. He has the annoying habit of trying to make you feel like a dog he's just saved from the pound and expects the same loyalty and blind devotion in return. Should you manage to pierce his hide and wound his ego, he'll shut himself away in a darkened room and brood. Use the break to catch a nap.

. . . ........
...
..
.
alright...
tt was pretty close to an extent i guess...

well...
i'll drop the link here gals.
u can go check out yr other "better" half.

N for guys,
u too can go see it.
See if u can salvage the situation by not being wat is stated by the horoscope then.
Good luck.

MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAH........

Blogging Craze.

I realised tt there has been a leap in no.s of frens who are blogging these days.
All of a sudden, there are juz so many blogs to read n check upon everyday.
Pple ard, tend to blog about the moods for the day. wat they see n how they feel.
I guess blogger is fast becoming a widely declared online diary of millions n even billions. (is there?)

But somehow, i do get the feeling tt not all will out last the daily-reports one have to update oh-so-regularly.
At least I do know of a couple of them who actually wrote a few interesting posts then faded away as they gradually find it a chore to do so. Yes u Angela.

Well, but I'm positively sure it was well worthy while it last.

Another Link

another Link for us all to literally laugh our head off.

as cute as it sounds, pls beware the gruesome scenes u will see.

Very Daring @ Zouk

Here's even another blog to further waste my time at the office.
Bear with it pple...

Very Daring @ Zouk.

The oh-so-very-daring Zoukers whom i mentioned in the earlier blogs.
The results are out and an 18 year in the form of a dreadlocks punk with marilynmanson-colored nails(ok. black.) won the contest.

Yes.
Frens who participated got thru till the middle but luck gave way.
oh well, guess it was fun enuf though.

Dares were unexpectedly daring for Singapore standards.

Contestants had to drink the Cricket Walker -- Crickets & worms grated with lotsa Johnnie Walker
All down in due speed.
The last few to finish had to be eliminated.

Keep Face in Water with fish guts for the longest.
I'll suffocate.
First few up -- eliminated.

Transport the most no. of Squids with one's mouth.
From plate to plate.
Eeww...
Gross.
But commendable to those who did it. Esp. tt only gal left.
*applause*

Eat Sheep's brain n tongue in fastest time.
Last one goes.
Out.

Last stage.
Some silly obstacle course. (yes. the name)
where the remaining guys had to wear this hammer on their hips n operate it by swinging obscenely.
move a brick across the finishing line, poke a heart-shaped balloon, down a shot of Johnnie Walker Red Label.
Then like all Jacky Wu's variety shows, the winner ends the competition with a loud gong.

Exciting. in a sadistic way.

but nvr wishing to be there.
i'm freakin Kiasu + Kiasee.

Blogger's Block (at work)

In case u r wondering why this stupid blogger has so much time n energy to post 3 blogs in a row...

She's bloody having this Monday blues. N Bloody not feel like working for nuts.

Car Show @ EXPO

Car Show @ EXPO.

Not really all that fantastic.
Was with u-know-who (hint with a capital "M").
Saw more Suped-up engines in ordinary cars than super cars that comes with super engines.
oh well, wat do u expect??
It's expensive to keep tt sort of super cars.
Whoever would actually wan to share tt spectacular eye candy with the rest of the world, much less, the Ah Bengs n the not-so-well-off execs, drooling on that eye-glaring shiny red hood of a Ferrari????
WELL, I guess things could juz happen with some pple who have nothing better to do n wan to spend their time showing off their belongings at a publicly-visited place, esp tt of a drool fest...
Hao LIAN.

Well again, I know of one such.
My cousin.
Show-off.
His Super-car.
Lamborgini.
Michelago.
oh..
sorry.
Murcielago.
Yes.

OKs...
enuf bout tt king.
let's juz whine about the $10 which everyone has to pay for admission.
WAT?! $10 for entry??? Wat the #$%@???

Heck it.
No body thinks it's worth the price.
But all who went grumpily paid tt due n went on.

Juz to note how "spectacular" was the show.
hmm...
Nothing much actually.
Most the cars present were actually not too much of a stranger to us.
Some we see on the roads. Though not many.
I think the show was literally lacking that aura of the impossibly-locally-owned vehicles.
Like those to-die-for super SUPERCARS,

Aston Martin Vanguish

That alone is enuf make up the $10 of the bloody admission ticket.

Yes. TT Gorgeous Splendid Wonderous piece of Car Metal is not at the show.

(Disappointed)

Wat actually appeared at the show was these bunch of Race Queens
(pretty gals skimpily-dressed, prancing around the cars)

Not tt the gals were not good.
Smart Car exhibitors who knew tt their cars were not enuf for tt $10 thirst they had to quench,
They hired/imported *Kawaii* Japanese gals to pose with the cars.
This move actually pulled crowds(mainly males) to the not-so-worthy cars to snap their cameras oh-so-constantly at the gals... oh i meant cars. (*rolled eyes*)

Well, there was also a showdown of the Race Queens in the pagent tt was held at the show.
yes.
Wat the hell.
good question.
This was supposed to be a car show for goodness sake.

As much as i was more interested in the race queens than my bf(faker) was, i saw unhappy gfs who had to so forcefully pull their reluctant bfs whose eyes are oh-so-glued to the race queens.

Took a few pics of the gals.
will photoblog asap once i have my broadband connection in the comfort of my home.
